If you use the Firefox browser fonts may seem very small.
This can be corrected by following these instructions:
In your Firefox browser do the following:
Go to Tools>Options>Content>Advanced (look in the fonts and colors section)
In Advanced set the minimum font size to 12 then click ok. The pages will now reflect the proper font size
Why only Black Balls?
We are working on how to do the Pearl Pinballs in different colors. The catch is that we only want to release them if they can be the same integrity as a silver ball. In other words, only if they can match the quality of the Black Pearls. We will continue to work on other colors but it will take time.
How do I clean my balls?
This is serious so I won't make the obvious joke. It is important to use only non acidic cleaner on your Black Pearl and Black Pearl design balls. Keep in mind that while products like Novice will work the waxy residue they can leave behind may be more noticeable on a black ball. Most importantly, by absolutely no means should you ever put any of the Black Pearls in a tumbler! All in all we recommend good soft rag and a mild window cleaner.
How do you guys ship?
We ship everything USPS. Keep in mind we don't ship anything in bubble packages. Everything leaves us boxed, prepped and ready for a bumpy ride. We do this to help ensure our products arrive safe and sound.
How much is shipping?
Shipping will depend entirely on what you purchase and where you live. Here at Back Alley Creations we charge an exact amount for shipping regardless of what you order. That means we do not make a profit on shipping. After you place your order and it is made, your item(s) will be put together and weighed to verify exactly how much it will be. Also, we utilize flat rate shipping whenever possible to save you more money.
Why do I pay shipping separate from my order?
Refer to the last two questions. Since shipping costs are determined after placing your order together and weighing them shipping is charged separately. Your initial payment secures your order and your place in line.
Why do we use Velcro instead of 3m tape?
Let's face it, you may not always want that add on where you put it, or might need to move it to clean your game. 3m tape can be a real pain to remove and may damage the piece it was on. Velcro gives you the ability to freely remove the item without damage to it or your precious machine. Keep in mind that some add ons may require the added strength of 3m tape. With these the tape will be used at the consumer's discretion.
Variations may occur
We haven't had any questions about this but we figured we would cut it off at the pass. Everything we do is custom and made by hand. This means some slight variations may occur from what is shown on the site and what is sent out. Not to worry though, as we take care of all of our customers and if there is ever a problem we make sure that it is taken care of quickly and professionally.
Refund Policy
Since we are a custom shop and everything is made to order we will not issue a cash refund for reasons other then defect of product. If due to a defect of product we will first attempt to fix the problem before we consider a cash refund. If we are unable to fix the product then a cash refund will be considered. If you return your product for any other reason, (i.e. I changed my mind) a 15% restocking fee will be applied and only a in store credit will be issued. Because of our strict policy we recommend you read the product description carefully and ask us any questions you may have before your purchase. We hope that this does not inconvenience anyone but because each order is made at the time of your purchase we can not afford to issue cash refunds.
